Rental Terms and Conditions
General Terms and Conditions of Business for Party Rent Denmark
Effective May 1, 2012<
General
Definitions
With The lessor refers to Party Rent Denmark AeM Denmark ApS.
With “Renter” refers to the person or company that orders the rented equipment.
Force Force Majeure refers, among other things, to fire, storms, severe weather, hail, water damage, burglary, theft, vandalism, explosion, spills or leaks of hazardous substances and/or gas, or other hazards associated with similar incidents at the Lessee’s premises or those of a third party, such as suppliers or carriers; illness among the Lessor’s key personnel who cannot readily be replaced; siege, blockade, or government intervention, as well as terrorism.
Agreement/Order
The Lessor’s terms and conditions of rental and delivery apply exclusively to all transactions.
The content and scope of the rental agreement correspond to the Landlord’s written order confirmation, which includes details of the order as well as the rental and delivery terms.
Changes to the binding lease agreement are valid only if they are confirmed in writing by the Landlord.
The Landlord reserves the right to bill the Tenant for any costs incurred in connection with the preparation of a quote.
Prices
The price per item is based on the current price list and applies for three days: the delivery day, the day of use, and the return day (base price).
The price for the second day of use is 25 percent of the base price. After that, 15 percent of the base price is charged for each additional day of use.
Deposit/Security
The deposit/security must be at least 25 percent of the order value.
Upon the proper and complete return of the rented equipment, the Lessor shall refund the deposit/security to the Lessee within three banking days.
Terms of Payment
The renter must pay the total rental fee no later than upon receipt of the rented equipment.
The payment must be credited to the Landlord’s account or paid in cash by this time at the latest.
Rental Period
The rented equipment is made available to the Renter exclusively for the agreed rental period.
An extension of the lease term requires the Landlord’s written approval.
In the event of an extension, the Lessor is entitled to charge additional rent in accordance with the pricing model set forth above (see Section 3, “Prices”).
If the Renter is unable to return the rented equipment at the agreed-upon time, the Lessor must be notified no later than the day before the rental period expires. In that case, the rental will continue on an ongoing basis until the equipment is returned, in accordance with the pricing model above (see Section 3, Prices), plus any additional costs up to the replacement value.
